Hired Mountain Movers to unload our moving truck in Austin after driving from OKC. Mike and Patrick were great! Probably the best movers we’ve ever used. Very professional, and flexible as we didn’t get to Austin until 7:30pm and after lots of traffic on the way. They got everything unloaded very quickly, and were nice enough to even help us with a trailer that was attached to the back of the uhaul. 10/10 would recommend!

We Do NOT Tolerate Hidden Fees. We HATE Them. With Us – There Are NO Hidden Fees. Ever.

The hourly rate is exactly what it sounds like, all moves are charged by our hourly rate and it includes everything, I.E. tools, dollies, blankets, wrap, truck, etc. The clock starts when the team arrives at your home and it stops when they place the last item into your new home. (Most companies charge “port to port” which means they start the clock when they leave their shop and then add the travel time to get back into the bill) we don’t think that’s fair so we only charge a flat travel fee.

The travel fee is a small one-time flat rate to cover fuel and mileage on the trucks we send out to your job. Typically if you are only traveling within a 15 mile radius of our shop it is only $50. Most jobs fall under this minimum charge. If you are going out of town (2/+Hrs) or out of state, the cost will be greater and we only charge the hourly rate for working hours.

If you have any items that are 400Lbs or more we do charge a $100 fee. These are very rare and include items such as Pianos, Gun Safes and industrial equipment. If you do not notify us of these type of items and we don’t have the necessary manpower/equipment to move the item we may refuse to transport said item as we will not risk injury to our movers.

We charge a 3% processing fee on all credit/debit card purchases. You can avoid this fee by paying cash or venmo. All payments are due at the end of the job.

I was recommended to Mountain Movers by a co-worker who said that they were amazing, and amazing is not even the word I could use for them. They were prompt and on time, the team was made up of Mike, Patrick and Trent. They went way beyond what they were expected to do. When I expressed that I did not know how to wrap a flat screen TV or some large frames, they did all of that, but most impressive, was they managed to move and re-assemble a very difficult bedroom suite and chest of drawers. They were nice, polite, humorous and good natured. I have never had the privilege of working with a team of movers like this. I will recommend them to anyone in the future.

We recently moved a 4 bedroom house + shed and had Mountain Movers pack and move us. They were incredible! Jason came by to give us a quote that was accurate. Patrick, Ryder, and Andy packed us. There was torrential downpour the day of our move and they still got it all done under terrible circumstances.
